keyfob 5804 need info by thurs morning!!!

i was trying to enroll a 5804 keyfob directly into an rf 6150 ademco keypad that's connected to a vista 15p.the keypad acknowledges the serial number during the first step of enrollment but the loop/buttons dont respond.this isnt brain surgery.i know i've missed something..........
