Can't arm system

Hello, I have a PC5010 with a LCD5500 keypad. I have only two motion connectors hooked up right now with no door contects. I try to arm the system and it always fails stating to close the zones first. I each motion wired up to a seperate zone. Any suggestions why the zones say they are open (btw motion detectors are not picking up any movement when the system is being armed.....so they should be in a closed state
