Did you check the charging voltage coming from the panel? Disconnect the battery from the system and test the leads to see what voltage they read. I don't remember, but I think there is an adjustable voltage regulator on these (similar to the 1500's) that may need to be adjusted - look "inside" the heat sink.

: I have a DSC PC3000 and the battery trouble light is on and the battery is not getting charged. I check the voltage to the battery and it is low. I bought a new battery and same thing. System works fine as long as I have have power, but still does not charge the battery.
