Keybus Fault after thunderstorm

Have a DSC Power 832 system with LCD5500Z keypads. (unmonitored) Immediately after a close lightning strike the alarm went off and could not be disabled. The LCDs both read "Keybus Fault call for service". We had to cut power to stop the alarm. Can we fix this ourselves?
