i would power it back up, if it is still the same fault, i would then default the system back to square one and reprogram it, if the fault is still there you will need a new board, also look for hot burn marks around were the phone line hooks into the panel (if you have a phone line connected).
: Have a DSC Power 832 system with LCD5500Z keypads. (unmonitored) Immediately after a close lightning strike the alarm went off and could not be disabled. The LCDs both read "Keybus Fault call for service". We had to cut power to stop the alarm. Can we fix this ourselves?
