you have stated that the "armed" and "system" lights are on and that you checked the "*2" for troubles and there werent any troubles. so you must have a "classic" type led codepad and not a power version codepad. the classic led codepad has ready, armed and system leds no trouble or bypass leds. the system led doubles for the bypass, memory and trouble led aswell. the power version codepad has a memory, bypass, fire, program and trouble led aswell. so as per my last reply and the info you have given your system is bypassing when you arm the system until you open a detection point programmed as a entry delay, try this and see.
: Recently moved into a home that already had an alarm system. When armed both the "Armed" and "System" lights are on, is this normal? Read the manual and did the trouble test (*2) and only the "System" light flashes. Thank you.
