What type of lcd is it? 5500 or fixed icon/english. on the 5500 while it is displaying the time etc, if you press the left or right arrows you can then see the unsealed zone. it is unsealed not a fault, a fault would be a tamper or supervisory fault. when using an entry/exit detection point such as a door, program it as force armable, ie, zone one is an entry/exit door so in section 101 turn option 5 on to enable force arming on this point.

: Thanks to this message board I have my system functional. I just installed a LCD keypad and all is well except that when a contact is opened in the unarmed state it does not display the fault. Can this be changed?

: I have added a garage door sensor but we exit the house through this door. Do I have to shut the garage door before I arm the system? Surly there is a way to program a zone without bypassing it.
