It is highly unlikely that two wireless smoke detectors have failed they are highly reliable. More likely to be the receiver at the alarm panel.Are there any more wireless detectors used i.e. pirs and if so do they work.Access to program mode is the same as most Ademco panels -hold down * and # keys on power up
: I recently bought a house with an ademco 4130 panel, and two bad smokes (they both sounded when I put in new batteries.) Now, the panel says fault at both smokes, and won't let me arm. I found one replacement (5706 - hard to find anymore), and want to delete the other from the programming. Does anyone know how to get into program mode, and once there, how to remove a zone? Any help (or a lead on a working 5706 smoke detector) would be appreciated.
