Why would you have taken the whole system when Brinks has a move policy that would enabled you to get a new system at your new residence? You may have a problem since their contract prohibits you from removing the system from the property. Also, it's possible that if you do something wrong with the installation, the cost for their service would be higher than anything you would have paid under the move policy.
As for programming the system, unless you have a plug-in progarmmer and the technical manual, you can't do it yourself.
