: why are you using a modem to direct connect??? direct connecting does not require a modem, thats the whole point, in the setup options in DLS 2002 you need to set it up so that whatever coms port you are using is set for direct connect and not to use a modem, if you wanted to communicate remotely to a panel at another site then you would use the modem dial up connection.
Yes, I want to connect to the alarm panel on a remote site, but problem with holding link after connection occurs, I don't have MD-12 modem, but my modem is Bell 103 compatible
