Connect the 4-conductor wire to the RJ-31X Jack as follows:
You must connect the grey modular cord to the alarm and plug it into the RJ31X Jack. Your alarm system has a schematic drawing of the proper position for the RED, GREEN, BROWN and GREY wires from the cord. NOTE: If your wires are twisted pair (Category 3 or Category 5), the first line will be colored white with a blue stripe and blue with a white stripe. If you have this type of phone wiring, simply substitute "white wire with blue stripe" for >green wire" and "blue wire with white stripe" for "red wire" . Also substitute the white wire with an orange stripe for black wire and orange with a white stripe for yellow wire.
