Glassbreak Plus Forced Entry Detection
Glassbreak detection is enhanced by a built-in ValueGap® magnetic
contact to monitor the opening of doors and windows. The result is
double protection from one sensor.
The sensitivity of the FG-1608 may be set to match the acoustics
of the room. Two different sensitivity levels are available; low or
high. The range can then be verified remotely with the FlexGuard
FG-701 Glassbreak Simulator.
Mount the Detector Anywhere

The FG-1608 works on all glass types, including plate, tempered,

Multiple Domain Signal Analysis
The FG-1608 performs Multiple Domain Signal Analysis in which
time, frequency and amplitude characteristics are evaluated for signal
qualification. This enables the detector to accurately discriminate
false alarms from true glassbreak events.
Two Sensors in One...
A built-in reed switch and separate actuator magnet provide forced
entry protection in addition to glassbreak detection.
Denotes detection of sound events and alarm condition.
Alarm LED can be set to latch upon alarm; helps identify which
FG-1608 alarmed in multiple detector applications.
The PCB is protected from potential damage during installation.
