A security system's integrity relies not only on the
performance of its modules (i.e. keypads, motion detectors,
accessories), but also on its ability to communicate information to and
from the control panel through the system's wiring.
GuardWall technology uses a specialized encrypted communication protocol
to efficiently communicate data between the control panel and all its
modules simultaneously and at all times. Even when there are no
occurrences in the system, data is continuously transmitted between the
control panel and all its modules. This means that any attempt to tamper
with or disable any module or the system's wiring will immediately be
recognized. Unlike Digiplex, conventional systems communicate only when
something happens and use a simple on/off method of communication.

DigiplexNE offers high security in a system that's
sophisticated yet easy to use. Its exclusive GuardWall technology
brings security system integrity to a level never thought
possible. Digiplex systems are designed to provide the highest
level of protection for banks, high-security military and
government sites, luxurious residential homes and any place where
maximum security is essential. These systems are also designed to
be easy to use, easy to install, expandable and cost efficient.
Designed with the installer in mind, the modular concept of these
systems provides labour-saving features that make expanding,
installing and servicing these systems quick and convenient.
Expand your system by adding plug-and-play expansion modules
anywhere and in any combination on the 4-wire combus. Devices and
modules are connected to the combus at the most convenient
location and then assigned to the desired zone and partition.
Also, only a module’s used inputs are assigned to zones in the
system. Keyswitches, remote controls and unused module inputs do
not use up zones. Once installed, all combus modules can be
programmed remotely via a keypad or the WinLoad upload/download
software. The DGP-NE96 control panel also supports 32 virtual
zones in addition to its 96 security zones and 32 access control
doors. Virtual zones can be used to automate PGM activations
without occupying a security zone and without affecting the
system’s security functions. Digiplex is a logical solution to
every installer’s security, access control and home automation
installation needs.

Digital detectors and all expansion modules are "plug and
play" devices easily connected to the Digiplex's sophisticated bus system for up to a
full 48-zone system. All peripherals (printers, PGM, power supplies, etc.) can be added
anywhere on the bus, wherever it's convenient for you. There's no need for extra wiring
and the system will immediately recognize and automatically integrate them! The Digiplex
bus system supervises all devices to verify connection, proper operation, and checks for
