SYSTEM - II
Single Line Network Receiver
by
 Sur-Gard

system 2 front

Building upon the lineage of our trusted Sur-Gard monitoring station receivers, the System II single-line IP receiver is designed for proprietary applications such as college/university campuses, gated communities/condominiums, dealers monitoring account system status, private corporate security and government facilities. The receiver calendar stamps all alarm data it receives before transmitting it to automation (via TCP/IP, USB or serial outputs). Alarm data can also be transmitted directly to a printer using the parallel printer port and be viewed on the LCD screen on the front of the receiver. Programmable via PC-based System II Console software or manually using the scroll buttons and LCD display, the receiver can be configured for desktop stand-alone operation (vertical stacking of up to four systems) or 19” rack-mount installation (rack-mount kit sold separately).
System II supports up to 1024 T-Link accounts (TL300, TL250/TL150), of those accounts, 512 can be supervised
Desktop or rack mountable with the use of a rack kit TCP/IP, USB or serial outputs to automation software
Menu-driven, 40-character, 2-line LCD display with blue backlighting provides instruction when in manual mode
4 buttons for manual programming and acknowledgment of alarm signals when in manual mode
Universal power supply compatible with 110/220 50 Hz/60 Hz
Onboard flash memory and DSP for future software upgrades and enhancements

User-friendly programming; fast & easy upgrades

System II can be programmed locally using the unit’s menu driven 40-character/two-line display or remotely over a network Ethernet connection using Sur-Gard System II Console software. The software can also be used to upgrade the unit’s flash memory with new operating software without handling hardware or pulling chips.

Sur-Gard SG-System II Console software

Sur-Gard System II Console software is an easy-to-use Windows™-based utility used to control up to four System II systems. The software connects via the receiver’s Ethernet port from any network computer providing a number of remote diagnostic tools such as communications debugging and real time status of all subsystems. Other features include date and time synchronization, edit and archive configuration options, as well as a virtual event log

Secure network alarm monitoring

System II features leading security measures such as 128-bit AES encryption and an anti-hack design that isolates internal communications from external data transmissions.

Self-diagnostics detect automation & component problems instantly

System II provides continual supervision of automation software.  For example, if the automation system goes off-line, the receiver switches from the primary Ethernet port, to an USB port and finally to a serial port, before going into manual mode.
