Are DSC power series devices for 832 compatible with 1832

DSC power series and new power series are fully compatible exception are the keypads and expanders.
If ver is 2.0 or higher devices are compatible.
If devices are ver 1.0 not.
On the back of keypads or expanders is a 4 letter code. if the last letter is M or higher then the device is ver 2.0 and is compatible with 1832 c.panels.
